1. Who we are

Jenny Sites is a trading name of JobWow Limited (company number 14909247, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ). We're the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us at hello@jennysites.com.

2. The data we collect and why

Before we contact you (prospecting). If you run a UK trade business, we may look up publicly available information about it — business name, address, phone number, trade category, and public ratings/reviews — sourced from Google's Places API, to decide whether to call you about building you a website. We only ever make first contact by a real phone call, never automated messages.

If you become a customer. We collect your business's contact details (including a mobile number, if you give us one), any photos, logos, or other content you provide us for your site, messages you send us requesting changes to your site, and payment information — which is handled directly by our payment provider and never stored by us.

Preview sites. Before you're a paying customer, we may build a free preview of a site for your business using publicly available information, so you can see what it could look like. Preview sites are marked so they aren't indexed by search engines and aren't publicly promoted — they exist only for you to review, and we take them down if you're not interested.

3. Why we process this data

• To identify businesses we might be able to help — a legitimate interest, using information about your business that's already public, and only ever reaching out by phone.
• To provide the website service you've signed up for — necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To communicate with you about your site.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of other companies to provide the service:

• Google (Places API / Maps) — to source and display public business information and maps.
• Pexels — to source stock photography; we don't send them any of your data.
• Cloudflare — domain registration and DNS.
• DigitalOcean — hosting, in London (UK).
• Our payment provider — payment processing.
• WhatsApp/Meta — messaging, for customer communication.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else except where we're required to by law.

5. How long we keep it

• If you don't become a customer, we may keep basic business contact details on file so we don't contact you repeatedly, and can act if you ask us to stop.
• If you cancel your subscription, we delete photos, logos, and other content you've given us within 30 days.
• You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see your rights below.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Ask us to delete your data.
• Object to how we're using it, or ask us to restrict it.
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
